We are accepting reservations for in-person residencies and temporary short-term accommodations for stays on campus, based upon room availability.
Email Student Services for support if you're a student entering self-isolation. Student Services can help you find accommodations and food services, too, if you're self-isolating outside of Victoria.
Rooms and amenities
You can choose from two types of rooms in the Nixon building:
- private single occupancy rooms with ensuite washroom, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker (available for short-term residency stays only)
- dormitory-style single occupancy rooms with shared washrooms
We have 59 dorm rooms and 33 ensuite single occupancy rooms.
You're invited to make yourself at home during your stay. Student lounges include fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, kettles and cutlery.
You can also purchase healthy, fresh meals at the nearby Habitat Café seven days a week. You'll receive a bonus if you prepay for meals on a Value Card.
Book a short-term room for your residency
For short-term residencies your program area will email you a code two months before your residency starts. Use this program room block code to book your stay online. You can stay the night before the first day of your residency until the day after your residency ends.
If you need to make changes once you've booked, you can edit your reservation .
Book a temporary room while you look for long-term housing
You can also request a room on campus for up to two weeks while you get settled and look for long-term housing.
Send your request up to three months before your program's start date. Decisions will be made on a first come, first served basis. If we have space for you, we'll send you confirmation one month before your program starts.

If you need a room with ensuite bathroom because of a medical condition or other accessibility needs, you can reserve your room through Accessibility Services. You can also request accessible parking for your stay.
Register for your room booking, pay and collect your room key from the Campus Welcome Desk located on the main floor of the Sequoia Building. It's open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
You'll find parking right out front. If you arrive by taxi, you can drop off your luggage at Campus Securit y on the ground floor of the Millward Building and walk to the Sequoia Building to check in.
If you arrive between 6:00 p.m. and 8 a.m., you can check in by visiting Campus Security on the ground floor of the Millward Building. Complete the check-in process at the Campus Welcome Desk at 8 a.m. the next day (10 a.m. on weekends and holidays).
When you check out on your last day of classes, you can leave your luggage in a secure storage area with Campus Security.
After you check in, move your vehicle to the Central Parking night; the only overnight parking lot on campus. You are welcome to leave your luggage with Campus Security in the Millward Building while you do.
