Professor, Intellectual Lead

Dr. Carolin Rekar Munro is a professor and the intellectual lead for leadership and human resources for the Faculty of Management. She has collaborated with leaders in the public and private sectors in areas such as change management, organizational renewal, strategic planning, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and team building. Her published work includes bridging multi-generational differences; developing and sustaining high performing teams; ROI from training initiatives; leadership models for transitioning teams to interdependence; wellness management of HR practitioners; and mentoring Generation Y. She is currently conducting research in two areas: 1) exploring how Generation Y plans to shape the organizational landscape globally; and, 2) the needs and expectations of Generation Z as they prepare to enter the labour market. 

Experience

Rekar Munro has held HR positions accountable for strategic planning; labour relations, including collective bargaining; change management; enhancing staff engagement; developing succession planning initiatives; and talent management.  Prior to 企鹅电竞查询v6.9 安卓版, she taught at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Central Michigan University. She also served as HR and Training and Development co-ordinator at Durham College. For Education Beyond Borders, she is chair of the Advisory Board, member of the Strategic Partnership Committee, and member of the team working in Tanzania as part of a leadership development and community education project. She serves on the Human Resources Association’s Educational Standards Committee and on the National Steering Committee for the Canadian Society for Training and Development.
