Dr. Siomonn Pulla is a scholar, writer, educator and practitioner. He is committed to innovative interdisciplinary research and teaching, with an emphasis on seeking solutions to real world issues. His primary focus is on participatory and collaborative research, corporate-Indigenous relations and new and emerging learning systems. Pulla is especially passionate about ensuring that indigenous cultures have access to adequate and appropriate tools for learning. An important aspect of his research is the emerging intersections between mobile technologies and educational programming, especially in the delivery of curriculum and programs to remote, rural and under-developed communities.
Specific research interests include the history of Indigenous-settler relations in the Commonwealth, northern issues, Metis political resurgence and representation in Canada and re-visioning doctoral education pedagogies and program designs.
